All sessions are online and interactive. We are using the following tools: Google Jamboard (interactive online whiteboard), Google Meet or FaceTime (video call) and Google classroom (materials and homework).

  • Homework Help  – Our students are not just given the answers to their homework questions – we show them how to work out the problems and re-teach the concepts if necessary. Our teaching style is personalized, friendly but firm.
  • Enrichment – Students who are already proficient in the material for their current grade level are given advanced lessons that could be at least a grade level ahead. The academic enrichment component of the program ensures that learning is always taking place.
  • Remedial – Students who have difficulty learning their concepts in the classroom for whatever reason get the intervention they need to catch up on their lessons.

The curriculum in New York City’s public and private schools are now aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). For our students to do well despite the challenges associated with this new curriculum, we have customized their learning experiences not just to match their skill levels, abilities and learning styles but also to mirror the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) .
